Applying to SGS
The SGS Admission process is a mutual exchange of information that allows prospective families and the school to determine mission and academic fit. Listed below are the steps required in the SGS Admission Process as well as due dates associated with each step. Additionally, you may download an admission application here.
- Application Form & Fee: January 12, 2012*
- Student Visit: SGS will schedule
- Parent Interview: SGS will schedule
- Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), Test by January 21, 2012**
- Parent/Guardian & Student Questionnaires, January 12, 2012
- Teacher Evaluation Forms (2 required), January 26, 2012
- Transcripts, January 26, 2012
- Personal Recommendation Form (optional), January 26, 2012
- Admission Decision Letters Mailed to Families, March 15, 2012
- Response Due to SGS, March 26, 2012 by 4:00pm
*SGS gives priority in scheduling the student visit day and parent interview to families who send in the application and fee by December 8, 2011.
**Register for the ISEE www.iseetest.org (SGS Code is 481706). Early registration is strongly recommended. Please review the Seattle-Tacoma ISEE Consortium letter for details on test dates/locations.
