Seattle Girls' School enjoys a special relationship with the Museum of Flight.  As part of that we have again been invited to select 12 interested students to attend the Pathfinders Event on Saturday, October 8th.

The Pathfinder Award celebrates two visionaries in aviation.  Recognized this year will be former Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders and David Hinson, the former director of the FAA.  Pathfinder guests will attend a presentation highlighting the honorees achievements and enjoy a keynote speaker during the sit-down dinner.  Only 40 students from the Seattle area are invited to this event and these students are primarily from SGS and Aviation High School.

If your daughter is interested in attending she will have the opportunity to apply with Sally.  This is a fantastic opportunity and we hope your daughter chooses to take advantage of it.

If your daughter attends she will:

• Attend a pre-program courtesy of Embry Riddle beginning at 5pm
  
• Assist as a greeter while other adult guests arrive
• Assist with passing out programs
  
• Sit at a table with 5 other students (at least two of whom will be from SGS) and a few adults
  
• See MM and Sally, as we will both be attending
• Come dressed up and behave in a way that will positively represent SGS
• Be picked up at 9:30pm from the Museum of Flight
