As part of your preparation
for creating a feature length film, each student must become proficient
in several areas.
We will spend at least a single class period learning or reviewing technique and then each student will individually complete an assignment that demonstrates proficiency in that area.
A student may not film or edit for the actual production unless she has demonstrated her proficiency by submitting the assignment and getting a 3 or higher. Students may "retry" a lab more than once, if necessary. The key is to develop good skills. You don't have to get it perfect the first time!
