8th Grade R&R

May is always a wild time in 8th grade and this year is no different. This week the 8th Graders participated in our first ever Retreat & Residency Event. R&R was three action-packed days long and included the opportunity to step into our courage zones, explore the beautiful city we live in, and learn more about and give back to our community. We also took time to have an “attitude of gratitude” and share with others things that we respect, appreciate, and admire about them. On Wednesday afternoon we hosted four SGS alums who are currently in high school to answer questions and share about their experiences transitioning from middle school to high school. We are excited to continue playing, connecting, and appreciating one another as we finish out the 8th grader’s middle school experience together.
