Learning Support at SGS

Please join us for a discussion with Megan Reimann about understanding and supporting individuals with learning differences at home, and at school. Megan will discuss ways to support, and advocate for individuals diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, executive functioning delays, mental health challenges and other specific "learning disabilities" such as dyslexia. She will also discuss, and answer questions regarding IEP's, 504 plans and appropriate accommodations, as well as how to best prepare our students for transitioning to high school and post secondary education. Megan is here at SGS, working with our learning support team, from the Hallowell Todaro ADHD Center and brings her 25 plus years experience in education as a classroom teacher, special educator, and education consultant with a focus on advocating for individuals with learning differences and supporting neurodiversity in all settings.
