What is STEAM Camp?

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. STEAM Camp is a week of scientific investigations, games, crafty projects, and fun! Past sessions have included: Garden Art, Water Machines, Barbie Drag Races, Bioengineering Fun, SteamPunk Pinwheels, Electronic Bugs, Helping Hands, Delicious Science, Electronic Music, Sci-Fi Movie Making, Sweet Science, DIY Photography, and Wiggle Bots!

Please Note: The 2021 STEAM Camp is currently scheduled to take place in-person on the SGS Campus with the necessary COVID-19 precautions. However, the camp logistics and details may be modified as new COVID-19 related data and regulations are released. SGS will be adhering to the guidelines released by the WA State Department of Health (DOH).

Who can attend?

Girls, regardless of their gender assigned at birth, and non-binary students who were assigned female at birth. Students should be entering the 3rd, 4th or 5th grades. You’ll be with SGS teachers and Ambassador Counselors (current SGS students and alums).


Monday-Friday, Aug 9th – Aug 13th, 2021; 9:00am-3:00pm.

How much?

The cost for STEAM camp is $375 per student. Financial aid is available, with a non-refundable $25 application fee.

How do I sign up?

To be placed on the waitlist for STEAM Camp 2021, you must fill out the Waitlist Registration Form. No payment will be required at this time. You will be contacted when your spot opens up.
