6th Grade Humanities

by Cody
This week in humanities, students visited a buffet; a buffet of literary techniques that is. In preparation for writing narrative science fiction stories and poetry, they copied down exemplars, researched various examples, and wrote original entries. Also this week, students explored our ancient ancestor’s journey out of the eastern Africa to the corners of the Earth. Students practiced highlighting key vocabulary, definitions, and important people, places, and dates.
