What is STEAM Camp?
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. STEAM Camp is a week of scientific investigations, games, crafty projects, and fun! Past sessions have included: Garden Art, Water Machines, Barbie Drag Races, Bioengineering Fun, SteamPunk Pinwheels, Electronic Bugs, Helping Hands, Delicious Science, Electronic Music, Sci-Fi Movie Making, Sweet Science, DIY Photography, and Wiggle Bots!
Please Note: The 2022 STEAM Camp is currently scheduled to take place in-person at our new campus! If new COVID-19 related data and regulations are released, SGS will be adhering to the guidelines released by Washington state.Who can attend?
Girls, regardless of their gender assigned at birth, and non-binary students who were assigned female at birth.
Students should be entering the 3rd, 4th or 5th grades. You’ll be with SGS teachers and Ambassador Counselors (current SGS students and alums).
When?
Aug 15th-19th, 20229:00am-3:00pmA short family culmination will be held at 2:30pm on Friday the 19th.
How much?
The cost for STEAM camp is $395 per student. Financial aid is available, with a non-refundable $25 application fee.
