Dr. Luversa Sullivan | 2005

Dr. Luversa Sullivan, colloquially known as Ms. Luversa, dedicated her life to opening the doors to technology for urban youth, bridging the digital divide by any means necessary. In 1999 she was awarded a grant and opened up the Tacoma Intel Computer Clubhouse. Continuing to expand, Ms. Luversa was awarded another grant for training K-12 youth from six school team-based robotics competitions and afterschool robotics program at Jason Lee Middle School. Ms. Luversa received the Women of Valor Award from Senator Maria Cantwell and Hillary Clinton, the Dorothy Bullet Award for Outstanding Community Service.
