by April Happy Spring! This season we offered golf, ultimate frisbee and track and field and participation was the highest yet. Athletes learned the basics of the respective sports, learning different throws in frisbee, self refereeing, running technique, built endurance and also learned some field events in track and field, which were the shot put, discus and long jump For our inaugural golf team, our athletes started at school learning the basics of putting and proper form and were able to finish the season at Jefferson golf course on the driving range and getting on the green for a par 3.
Athletes in their respective sport were able to try something new, build on skills they learned previously and improve drastically week to week through a culminating event, games or meets.
