6th Grade Medical Board Exams

by Shannon
Since January, 6th graders have been deep into medical school as part of their Science curriculum. Prior to intensives, students recorded a teaching lesson about their body system specialty. You can check them out here: https://sites.google.com/sgs-wa.org/6th-body-system-lessons/home

Since the students declared a condition, disease, or syndrome from their body system, they completed research and shared all that they learned at the Board Exams yesterday evening. We were excited to be back in person, as seven doctors joined the board panel and presented scenarios to our students. Students thought critically, problem solved, and showed off all their amazing new knowledge in this stand-and-deliver culmination. We are so proud of the time and energy they put in! Inset: Students got fitted for their scrubs last week.
