New Employee Spotlight: Welcoming Jonathan Dubreuil!

Seattle Girls’ School is pleased to welcome Jonathan Dubreuil to the SGS community as our new Marketing and Communications Specialist.

With more than five years of experience in marketing and communications, Jonathan joins SGS with a passion for storytelling, design, and finding meaningful ways to connect people with an organization and its mission.

Recently, Jonathan served as a Communications Specialist at Tacoma Public Utilities, where he worked across a variety of communications projects and developed a deeper appreciation for the role thoughtful communication can play in bringing people together.

At SGS, Jonathan is looking forward to helping share the stories that make the school special—from the experiences of students and families to the work of faculty and staff. He hopes to help capture the curiosity, connection, and joy that are part of everyday life at SGS, while creating opportunities for the broader community to see and celebrate what happens here.

“I’m grateful and blessed to join such an amazing institution, and help steward a community of belonging here at SGS,” Jonathan says. “I’m excited to learn from this community, get to know the people who make SGS what it is, and help share their stories.”

For Jonathan, good communication starts with listening: learning what matters to people, creating space for their stories, and finding authentic ways to bring those stories to the wider community. It’s an approach that reflects the collaborative spirit of SGS and its commitment to helping students learn joyfully, think independently, and champion change.
