Overview: Parenting can be busy and stressful! Join us to learn about creating calm and stability so you can show up like the parent you want to be.

Parenting is so much. We have to fill so many roles -- chauffeur, referee, project manager, chef, and all the rest of it! It leaves us bouncing from one thing to the next, making it hard to choose how we’d like to show up for our kids. We are stretched too thin and have too much to manage. This can get particularly challenging in middle school, as schedules, homework, and activities get more intense, combined with a developmental stage that can make interactions and moods just.....so much more in all the ways!

We need as much stability as possible so that we can show up in the way we want to for our kids.

Join us on Wednesday, March 18 from 6 - 7:30pm for a presentation on finding stability from Dr. Feliza Guidero. You'll learn about regulating (not just calming!) your nervous system, letting go of unsustainable expectations, what boundaries may be helpful to set, and what to give yourself permission to allow in. This isn't about just a list of things to do. It's about looking at your life and making small - and important - shifts that help you put your energy where it counts. Whether you're a new parent or have years of experience, you'll leave with a sense of how to create more stability so you can show up as the parent you want to be.

Dr. Feliza Guidero is a parent (two kids, three guinea pigs) and licensed clinical psychologist with twenty years of experience working with parents and kids. You can learn more about her at www.truewestpsych.com. See you on March 18th!
