What is SchoolPass? SchoolPass is a student management app that tracks student attendance and daily wellness screening. SGS is using this app for two reasons:
● To streamline the daily wellness screening process and decrease morning check-in time.
● To streamline the attendance (absent, late arrival, early dismissal) excusal process and pick-up method changes to ensure all students are accurately accounted for. This will decrease daily emails to/from families.

How it integrates with Blackbaud: SchoolPass integrates with Blackbaud by sending attendance information submitted through the app to Blackbaud to be reflected in the official attendance record for the day. This will ensure that all attendance excusals are received directly from parent/guardian(s) and are documented officially for all staff/faculty to see.

How to set up SchoolPass: You received a separate email from SchoolPass over the summer with a sign-up link and instructions for creating your SchoolPass account and downloading the SchoolPass app for easy daily use.

What you will need to use School Pass for:
● Daily Covid Screenings for your student
● Excusing Absences
● Reporting Late Arrivals
● Reporting Early Dismissals
● Reporting any changes to pick up method (i.e. walking or taking the bus instead of being picked up by car, carpool changes, etc)
