In this talk, Dr. Christopher Emdin explores how STEAM learning rooted in movement, creativity, and justice can transform classrooms and communities. Drawing on his work at the intersections of race, science, and the arts, he offers a vision for education as a pathway to liberation.

Dr. Emdin is a writer and professor at Columbia University’s Teachers College, known for his book For White Folks Who Teach in the Hood…and the Rest of Y’all Too: Reality Pedagogy and Urban Education. Join us for a conversation on his work, hip-hop, and the power of imagination in learning.
